Welcome to Lion Class one of the Upper School classes here at Cliffdale Primary Academy.

Autumn 2021

Welcome to Lion Class! We have had such a fun and exciting start to the term. There are 8 pupils in our class, 7 boys and 1 girl.

Two pupils in our class have joined Cliffdale from other schools. We love music and singing and going outside on the Play Park.

We are enjoying learning all about the Cliffdale triangles, already we have shown lots of resilience (yellow triangle) by trying new foods in Food Time!

We have also taken part in activities offsite such as kayaking and Wheels for All at Alexandra Park.

We are developing relationships (green triangle) by getting to know our new friends and staff in our class.

We have been sharing games with staff and our friends and taking turns. We have also been becoming more independent (pink triangle) by coming into school each day and then walking down to class by ourselves.

Our topic this term is ‘Survival of the Fittest’. Already we have been learning about jumping safely in Gymnastics and riding the trikes on the MUGA. We made smoothies in our Topic Launch Day, they were so yummy!
