Welcome to Racoon class! We are made up of a mix of boys and girls.

Racoon class work on all 5 Cliffdale Values throughout the year to support our learning development. We have built some great relationships just like Felix and Flo, through accepting each other in our space, dressing up together, sharing toys and participating in activities with one another. Our topic this term is ‘Once upon a time’, we have been showing good ‘Edna’ skills, engaging in lots of activities based on some of our favourite stories, such as ‘Goldilocks and the three bears’. We have been exploring different recipes linking to the story through using our listening and communication skills to follow instructions to make yummy dishes, such as porridge. We also like to keep active and demonstrate fantastic resilience during our play park session to climb, balance and slide our way round. WE LOVE BEING OUTSIDE! We finally have been showing some amazing ‘Indie’ independent work through traveling to other areas of the school and starting to organise our own belongings at the beginning and end of the day. We are excited to see what the rest of the term/year brings us and continuing to thrive as one big team.
